Medium Voltage (MV) Metal Oxide Varistors (MOV)

The European electrical AC voltages are classified in terms of Low Voltage (LV), Medium Voltage (MV) and High Voltage (HV). 

The International Electrotechnical Commission has classified the voltages into levels (IEC 60038), Medium Voltage (MV) has a Voltage rating of 1000V to 35kV.

Z42.14CW - Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) - Medium Voltage - 1.25kV rms. This device is a metal oxide based varistor with radial tinned copper terminal wires. The varistor substrate is enclosed within a robust insulating coating for environmental and mechanical protection.
