T2 - Type 2/Class II Surge Devices

A Type 2/Class II device should be Installed at the main incoming supply (Unless the application requires Type 1) and at any electrical switchboard more than 10 metres from the upstream SPD, to protect against overvoltages caused by atmospheric or switching activity. Critical or sensitive equipment may require a additional protection from a Type 2 or Type 3 device.

Type 2 SPD is characterized by an 8/20 µs current wave.

Three Phase T2/3 Surge arrester

Designed for installation at the boundary of LPZ 1 -2 or higher, to protect low voltage equipment from surge damage. Designed according to IEC 61643-11, this device is a pluggable, modular, Class II SPD for TT, TN-S and TN-C-S power supply system. This surge protective device is usually installed in a distribution board or other control panel, protecting devices or equipment downstream.

Type 2 - Class II - Three Phase - 4 Pole - 20kA L/N - 40kA N/PE - 275VAC

The T2INM3/20/40/275 and the T2INM3/20/40/275R (Remote Version ) are for installation at LPZ 0B -1 or higher. This device has a pluggable modular SPD Class II (Class C) for TT and TN power supply system.

Type 2 - Class II - Three Phase - 4 Pole - 20kA L/N - 40kA N/PE - 320VAC

The T2INM3/20/40/320 and the T2INM3/20/40/320R (Remote Version ) are for installation at LPZ 0B -1 or higher. This device has a pluggable modular SPD Class II (Class C) for TT and TN power supply system.

Type 2 - Class II - Three Phase - 4 Pole - 20kA L/N - 40kA N/PE - 350VAC

The T2INM3/20/40/350 and the T2INM3/20/40/350R (remote version) are for installation at LPZ 0B -1 or higher, protecting low voltage equipment from surge damage. Designed according to IEC 61643-11 / GB 18802.1. This device has a pluggable modular SPD Class II (Class C) for TT and TN-S power supply system.

The T2INM3/20/40/350 and the T2INM3/20/40/350R (remote version) are for installation at LPZ 0B -1 or higher, protecting low voltage equipment from surge damage. Designed according to IEC 61643-11 / GB 18802.1.

This device has a pluggable modular SPD Class II (Class C) for TT and TN-S power supply system.
